The Diagnostic Centre is located adjacent to the Health Centre. It was set up with the help of seed donation from an alumnus of Rishi Valley School.

It has the following objectives:

• To provide quality laboratory facilities at an affordable cost to rural population of about 1,00,000 individuals
• To serve as a collection centre and link up with larger diagnostic centres at Chennai for special investigative procedures
• To provide laboratory services to other doctors and hospitals in the region
• To provide basic Radiology facilities for the above population (This is a future project)

The scope of the project includes:

• Basic haematology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, serology and cytohistopathology facilities
• Microbiology and Histopathology can be incorporated at a later date
• Basic radiology facilities (no contrast studies or invasive studies)

An Ultrasonologist visiting us on the first Sunday of every month. The clientele is mainly Antenatal, with a sprinkling of other cases.

Doctors associated with the Health Clinic will be available for consultation at no cost.
