Clinic & Outreach Programme

Objectives:

  • To provide primary level diagnostic and curative health services to a large rural population (approx. 35,000), which has limited or no access to medical facilities.
  • To set up a Comprehensive Eye Care and Community Based Rehabilitation Programme.
  • To cater to the health needs of the community, primarily in the areas of mother and child health and to educate the community on various aspects of health, infectious diseases, AIDS, substance abuse and so on.
  • To train Community Health Workers, Health Extension Workers, who in turn would monitor and treat simple common diseases, render first aid and inform the Doctor of any serious problems.
  • To undertake Community Based Development Projects like Safe Water Supply, Sanitary Latrines, Waste water management, drainage systems etc.
