While using these materials, the teacher's role is often that of a guide and facilitator. The teacher's guide provides hints and strategies that will help teachers implement an activity-based approach. It lays out the conceptual framework for each unit and the interlinkages among the units. The objectives of each unit and activity as well as the materials and resources that are required are clearly specified. Suggestions for activities to extend the work further are also included.
