Our forty acres of farmland contain an organic vegetable garden,
fruit orchards, with mango, sapotas, papayas and coconuts.
We also grow maize and are experimenting with the less water
intensive technique of growing paddy.
Various methods of composting, use of alternative pesticides
and mulching are being tried out on our farms.
Our farming policies have a two-fold aim: to produce organic
produce for the school kitchen and to create demonstration plots
for local farmers by introducing crops that use less water.
